SC MOPAN SA SUCEAVA developed out of the former Milling and Flour-Processing Plant (IMP Suceava), and from 2002 it is part of the RACOVA GROUP.
As part of a large holding made up of companies with fields of activity focused on agriculture and animal raising, both as raw material producer as well as processor, this company is rapidly finding its identity on the local market, reinforcing and redefining a real brand, thus earning its place as a market leader in the local milling and flour-processing industry.
The object of activity of SC MOPAN SA Suceava is milling and flour-processing into finished products. The company’s development strategies are directed mainly at the development of specific activities – namely milling and flour-processing, raw material processing and the optimization of the production of bread and bread derivates.
As far as the processing of the raw material – wheat – is concerned, SC MOPAN SA Suceava owns two wheat mills with a milling capacity of over 77 500 tons per year:

1. the mill of Suceava, completely modernized with Bühler equipment brought from Germany;
2. the mill of Dornesti, a tradition unit in milling, recently reintroduced in the economic circuit.

By supplying the necessary raw material, the premises were created for the optimization of the production of bread and bread derivates, which is of over 13 000 tons per year, production globalized at the company level.
SC MOPAN SA Suceava owns seven bread factories – Suceava, Radauti, Falticeni, Gura Humorului, Campulung, Vatra Dornei and Solca – two pastry shops – Suceava and Gura Humorului – and the crackers and wafers factory of Suceava.
The future aims of the company are the enlarging and modernizing of the production capacity of certain units, the increasing of the market quota and the achieving of leadership at regional level, as well as the diversifying of the production by purchasing a pasta-processing line.
