The animal sector represents the business card of the company, by the two cattle farms – Badeana and Pogonesti, with 1 000 cattle head of the Holstein Friese breed, out of which 495 milk cows, the Badeana farm being acknowledged as one of the most modern dairy farms in the country.
As a result of the implementing of a vast investments program both in the farm’s infrastructure and in the purchasing of superior genetic material, the Badeana farm is entirely up to the standards of the European Union. The daily milk yield of the farms is over 8000 liters, milk which is processed by S.C. ILVAS S.A. and sold under the brand name VIO.
